Class Type: Basic

Description: The Basic Course is designed for the student who would like to learn the fundamentals of bartending, either just for fun or for basic knowledge, and is unsure whether they would like to work as a professional bartender after taking the course. In the Basic Course, each student will be taught all the fundamentals of bartending: the different types of glassware, the tools of the bar, how to set up and break down a bar, how to pour and mix drinks correctly as well as over a hundred drink recipes including the glassware and garnishes they deserve. In the Basic Course, students learn "hands-on" during extensive pouring lab sessions. In the Basic Course, each student will be given a student manual to keep which includes the lecture material and drink recipes taught during the bartending course.
